Senior Centers
Where the menu always includes food, friendship and fun...
You can find food, friendship and fun at every senior center in the Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging service area. Forty-two of our forty-nine senior centers serve a hot meal designed to meet 1/3 of the recommended daily allowances for vitamins and nutrients. Special meals are available for those who have modified dietary restrictions.
But there is more to the story than a hot, well-balanced meal. For many the center has become their "second home". Through a variety of services and activities, the center gives older adults in their community the opportunity to interact with their peers, stay active, and feel useful. "The heaviest burden for anyone is having nothing at all to carry".

- Care Management Services and help for the homebound through the Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging office
